behind the lens
I started shooting film as a kid before digital cameras were really a “thing”. Point and shoots were all the jam. Studied film through high school and it quickly became my favorite class and probably the only A grade earned in school besides gym. Snowboarding was my first love but after crashing way too many times and a few surgeries and dislocated shoulders later I grabbed a camera and stuck to the ground. Started shooting friends hucking themselves off big jumps and my love for photography was restored. I moved to Hawai’i and immersed myself in a darkroom for a few years, earning a degree in photography.
You can find me by a campfire somewhere or in my shed darkroom keeping the print dream alive.
